Specifications explained
Slip rating
Slip ratings are used to access the surface frictional characteristics in different environmental conditions. Their testing ensures that they are compliant with Australia’s building code, reducing the risk of slips and falls. All Proline Floors are compliant and in accordance with the standard AS 4586-2013 – slip ratings.
Fire rating
Fire ratings are used to access the reaction to fire and burning behaviour in different environmental conditions. The testing ensures that the product is compliant with Australia’s building code, accessing the potential fire hazard of the product in use. All Proline Floors are compliant and in accordance with the standard AS/ISO 9239.1-2003 – fire resistance.
Acoustic tests
Acoustic testing is used to access the impact sound and it’s noise transmission through the floor. The testing ensures that the product is compliant with Australia’s building code, ensuring noise control in and reducing noise pollution in multi-level buildings. Proline Floors are compliant and in accordance with the standard AS/NZS ISO 140.7:2006 – impact sound insulation.
Warranties
Product warranty refers to the defects inherent to the material supplied. This means any material or production defects, acknowledged by the manufacturer.
